On Thursday, 16 July 2026, the German Alumni Association under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Waraporn Khamyod, Secretary-General of the Association, and Dr. Rummiya Wilaitong, a member of the Association, at the 52nd Thai Red Cross Charity Concert, held at the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre.
This year’s concert was presented in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, under the theme “STILL ON MY MIND – Forever in Our Hearts.” The programme featured a magnificent performance by the Royal Thai Navy Orchestra, whose inspiring musical repertoire was accompanied by a Khon performance of the Ramakien episode “Phra Ram Crossing the Ocean,” presented by the Office of Performing Arts, Fine Arts Department. The concert left a profound and lasting impression on all who attended.
